Fueled by a 351 Cleveland engine, propelling it to a remarkable top speed of 142mph (225km.h).

Affectionately nicknamed the “Shaker”, the XY GTHO earned its moniker from the characteristic shaking of the bonnet during idling, a visual testament to the sheer power lying beneath.

The XY GTHO, etched its place in history with a victory at Bathurst in the 1971 Hardie-Ferodo 500.
